Does Enlightenment Gives You More Money ?

It’s an unusual time to pen down this article.

In my quest to boost my income, I’ve opted to pursue a job in addition to my existing endeavors like writing and podcasting, the latter not yielding financial returns despite being recognized among the 'Best 5 Spiritual Podcasts in Hindi' in 2023 (refer to my other article on this matter).

As I draft this, I’m en route to an interview in Rohini Sector 5, New Delhi, India.

Strangely, it’s the first time I sense unease about this decision.

There’s an internal turmoil, a feeling that I might be headed in the wrong direction or perhaps the wrong place!

I’m uncertain at this point which of the two is causing the turmoil; I will know the reality in the next few hours.

After dedicating years to my spiritual journey, entering the materialistic realm feels unsettling.

My soul recognizes that the path to realizing God was more beautiful and easier than the materialistic journey I’m embarking upon now or may do so for any future endeavors.

Despite this, there’s a peculiar comfort in realizing that I’ve already fulfilled the purpose of human life—navigated my own evolution, experienced more, and graced upon with many spiritual experiences (all thanks to my spiritual teacher), uplifted my soul infinitely more.

Although, it dawned on me later that, ironically, I still need money to navigate this world. 😂

I wish the journey of evolution and enlightenment had also bestowed upon me the ability to conjure money with some magical mantra!

Alas, the reality remains that you still have to work for money :-(
