Hi Patrick, as a fellow writer, I respect your opinion and that you are also working in the spiritual space guiding others the best that you can. But I do not concur with the celebrity part. I understand that the number of fraud teachers is on the rise and has always been, I have also written a few articles on that. But in my opinion, to generalise the celebrity involvement may be too extreme. Because when one's powers increases, so does one's responsibility. In that, it calls for methods like making your message reach via a celebrity because people are already listening to them. For example, we wanted to awaken people about human trafficking, so we collaborated with people who already had an influence so our message could reach the masses. I understand your concern about the same, but you may also consider not to generalise everything. After all, the fake copies the real. And if we generalise everything, then we might as well put the real one in the wrong bracket by not listening to them or giving them a chance to express themselves, because we have already put them in that bracket.
There are ways to recognise the real teacher. I should be writing more on that since I spent 10 years finding a real one (and it was worth it!). Will write on it. Thankx
